The Bill Mitchell designed 2nd generation Cadillac DeVille was sold in coupe, sedan or convertible version from 1961 through 1964. The big beast was packed with all sorts of advanced features like power electric seats and auto dimming headlights from the epoch when Cadillac ruled the large luxury segment.
Find this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (4-window hardtop) for sale in St George, UT for $10,000 via craigslist. Tip from Kaibeezy.
This seems like a lot of car for the money and everyone agrees that big pillar-less sedans are awesome. The chrome and bright work looks in great shape and that goes a long way in a big beast like this. The engine in this one needs detailing and the interior is ugly, but outward appearances are everything in a big cruiser and this one's got it in spades!
This DeVille is powered by Cadillac's 429 cubic inch (7 liter) V8 that puts out 340 SAE gross horsepower and about a bazillion foot lbs of torque. This author used to own/drive a '67 Coupe DeVille and can tell you from personal experience that the big Caddy really scoots well from 20-60mph, but feels fairly sedate at other speeds. Unfortunately aftermarket support for this engine is non-existent and while you can find stock rebuild parts, don't expect to find off-the-shelf cams, intake or heads if you desire a few more ponies.
Interior has some stains on the passenger's door and a missing passenger's side kickpanel. We can't tell for sure, but it looks like it may have the autronic eye for auto dimming the lights on the dash.

Some day I will own one of these glorious landyachts, something between a '64 and '74...

I had a '64 De Ville convertible when I was in High School, paid $300 for it. That works out to about 7 cents a pound. Man, what a car, it could pass everything but a gas station. I just couldn't afford it.
Just like this. White with red leather interior

I've always wanted a big land yacht like this, but I would swap the big v8 for a turbo diesel and trans out of a bread truck. Good mileage, loads of comfort, and just the right amount of "wtf" when people see it.

That would be pretty damn sweet!
